Even through the highs and lows of life, God is always with us! Special guest Pete LeDuc came on Friday, September 20th to talk to the children about God living within each and every one of us. He told the children that as we grow we also grow in God's word. Pete also shared with the children that sometimes there are things in our life that we want or want to do, but God may have different plans for us, which reminded me of the bible verse in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Sometimes even for adults that is hard to hear, especially when it's something we are really wanting. Instead we need to remember that we don't always see or understand the whole picture that God sees!
